Makeup of the Day 3/30/11

Today's look was a neutral pop of color. I really like doing these types of looks for summer. I don't wear any kind of foundation with it, because living in Florida it's too hot for foundation sometimes so this is a looks I would wear if I were hanging out at the beach at night or on the boardwalk for they day.

So some people have been requesting a neutral eye look. This is the look that I wear when I want it to look like I haven't really put anything on but it's just the opposite, because this look uses a fair amount of makeup.

I really had fun playing with pinks today. They really are my favorite color, because it makes the little bit of green I have in my eyes really pop.

The look for today is a golden/copper eyeshadow. I had been looking at my eye shadows and realized I haven't used these colors in a while.

Hey all! the look I did today was another night time look, but this time it was a purple eyeshadow look. When I do my makeup to go out at night I almost always pick pinks or purples. Not really a reason why they are just my favorites!

The look I did today was a request for a night time look. This is a look I would wear out at night on a date with my husband or going out with friends.

Makeup of the Day 3/22/11

The look for today was inspired by the spring makeup trends for 2011. Christian Dior used bright vibrant colors in their spring fashion show so I used that as my inspiration for this look. I used turquoise, to me it always feels like it a spring color it's so bright and pretty. Below is the inspiration for the color, didn't go as far out with the liner.

Saint Patrick's Day Makeup

Hello all, so today I was playing with green shadows from St. Patrick's day looks. This look is a super bright over the top green look. This look would be great if you are going out on St. Patrick's day more then likely not appropriate for work at least not for my work.

Eyeshadow of the day 3/12/11

The eyeshadow of the day today is Benefit's Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Stiletto. Benefit's website describes it as aubergine color which I won't lie I had to look up and it means eggplant. Honestly I can kinda see where they got that color from but to me eggplant makes me think of a dark purple-ish black and this color is a deep red burgundy color. The funny thing is that the swatch that the website provides looks nothing like this color it's so strange.

Review MAC Brush Cleaner

I first bought the MAC brush cleaner with my first MAC brush a year or so ago, and I thought it was good but figured that it was just as good as any other cleaner. I thought I could try to use the baby shampoo like other people have done and I did try it and I hated using the baby shampoo I did not clean it nearly as well as the MAC brush cleaner.

Review Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes

I just finished using my package of Yes to cucumbers facial towelettes and thought I would do a little review of them for everyone. These wipes are from the Yes to carrots brand but part of the cucumber line of stuff. The yes to cucumber stuff was created to soothe your skin and hair and be for sensitive skin and color-treated hair will find these products gently hydrating and soothing with their organic cucumbers, aloe vera and green tea.

Makeup of the Day 3/9/11

Today's makeup was inspired by a look that Scarlett Johansson wore to the Tony Awards in 2010. It was a beautiful purple and pink look, they used Dolce and Gabbana makeup because she a spokes model for them. The colors that they used were listed on the Teen Vogue website if anyone is interested in the actually makeup used.

Review Sexy Healthy Hair

So I have been using the Sexy Healthy Hair by Sexy Hair for the past month. I bought this shampoo and conditioner at my Ulta. This shampoo and conditioner is marketed as a soy milk formula that has soy and cocoa in it. It is marketed as being used on all hair types and for weightless moisture shine and manageability. Now like I said I wanted to give this product a good try because I've noticed that most of the things that I have reviewed I haven't liked. So I wanted to be sure that was giving things a fair chance. I used this product for a full month, and I don't like it, I hate to say it because I really wanted to like it. It has a really great smell and it kept my hair manageable but the product it's self I didn't enjoy.
