Today's color is from China Glaze's holiday line it's called Mistletoe Kisses. It is a light green with glitter color. It's my new favorite holiday color. In the pictures it has two coats on.

Makeup of the Day 12/17/10 Cover Girl Smoky Eye Kit Review

Well I was at Target and I noticed that they had a Cover Girl Smoky Eye set on sale for $4.00 I couldn't pass that up. It included a Dual ended Smoky Shadow Blast eye shadow in Bronze fire, eye liner in brown, and mascara in brown. The eye shadows weren't as bad as I was expecting them to be. They do crease even with a base but they lasted for about 5 hours. The color payoff was OK, the pictures I have won't do it justice because they are very light neutral colors. The eye liner was a very ugly color brown and very wet it took like 2 minutes before it was totally dry. The mascara was good quality mascara but it does clump a little bit and applies rather wet. Over all I at $4.00 this wasn't a bad deal, I believe it said it retailed for $10 something normally I would say pass on the set and just buy a Smoky Shadow Blast eye shadow and the mascara, the eye liner was no good to me.

Makeup of the Day 12/10/10

So Sorry it's been for ever since I posted a makeup of the Day but I had a sinus infection that made one of my eyes swell up, so not supper attractive =p But anyways. Here is today's makeup!

Nail Polish of the Day 12/10/10

This is one of the only purple polish i have. It is a very forgiving purple because it is closer to a neon purple than a dark purple, because i'm so pale i have a horrible time getting nail polish off my skin when i paint my nails, this color doesn't stain my skin and it's still rather dark.

Nail Polish of the Day 12/9/10

Yes an orange shade, it doesn't play well with my skin tone most of the time, but i tend to wear it on my toes during the summer. I still think it is a really pretty color even though it doesn't usually look right on me.

Do Not Buy- L’Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen mascara

So last week I was at Target and decided to try a new drugstore mascara. My Badgal is starting to run out and I wanted to see if there was any drug store mascaras that I could replace my Badgal with. So I picked up L’Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen mascara.

So the packaging says that it is an all day wear, no clumping no flakes and no smudges mascara; it so was anything but that. When I went to just pull the wand out it was covered in product so much so that I had to use a towel to get the excess off of the brush. Secondly the brush is so large that the tube doesn't pull off enough of the product so when you finally do attempt to use it just gets so many clumps and you lashes are just so wet that they all start to stick together. But I decided to tuff it out and keep it on all day and see how it was, because if it ended up working really well than I could maybe deal with the extra time it takes to apply it. It wasn't worth it, by the time I had finished applying my blush and powder it had already started flaking on to my face.

This mascara is a waste of time and money, honestly the only good thing about this mascara is the large brush other than that a completely waste. I will never buy this mascara again in fact I threw the whole thing out. It was such a disappointment.

Nail Polish of the Day 12/8/10

I'm not sure how I feel about this color still. In the bottle it looks like it is going to be a fairly dark metallic neutral color. But once you put it on your nails, it because so metallicy that you really have to watch how you apply it otherwise you will be able to see all the brush strokes and if you went in different directions, it begins to look funny, but I have only worn it twice so i'm gonna give it another try, but it a really pretty color is you are patient enough.

Nail Polish of the Day 12/7/10

I really like this color, before i discovered China Glaze For Audrey this was my go to color, I know based on color they don't look alike but when I was trying to find something close to the Tiffany's color this is one of the ones i picked up trying to find it. It is a very neon blue color, not an every day color for most people but I love it.

Nail Polish of the Day 12/5/10

This color is an older color and it's not available any more but it is one of my absolute favorite colors. In the bottle it looks like a very deep red, but once you put it on your nails it comes out as a shimmery pinkish red, it's very pretty.

Nail Polish of the Day 12/4/10

I love this color!!! It is just such a bright pink. It needs about 2 coats so it's not too see through. But the color pay off is really great, highly recommended if your looking for a bright pink polish.

Nail Polish of the Day 12/3/10

This color is called Fairy Dust, it is a really pretty sparkle coat. I was hoping that I could wear it by it's self just as glitter nail polish, but it's very light and needs multiple coats to wear on it's own. I think it would look best over another polish.
