Makeup of The Day 4/21/12

Long time no post, today's make up was something I was playing with late last night while I was having 50 mile per hours winds that kept me up. It's a really pretty blue and sliver look. I feel like blue eye shadow gets a bad rap and people don't use it very often.

I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. I don't really know why, I just hadn't really been feeling like taking pictures of my makeup. So I'm going to try to be better about it see as how this is what my blog is about, lol.

Makeup of the Day 1/27/12

Long time no blog! So it has been a while since I've blogged anything, and I'm sorry for that. I had been wearing the same look kinda over and over just because I was feeling lazy which doesn't make for good blog posts.
But today I changed it up a bit and thought I would show you guys. I've really been loving my Mineralized eye shadows that I picked up and I've been wearing them a bunch lately, but I had just been wearing them as a wash of color and only one of them. So my make up today was champagne and light brown look, with a nice bright pink lipstick.

MAC Naturally Collection

So for Christmas I got a MAC gift card from my mom, and I picked up some items that I don't normally get from MAC. I purchased a blush and some mineralized eye shadows, I actually was looking on Temptalia's site when I noticed she did a look using all of the items I got from MAC (minus the A Perfect Day lipstick that was sold out but I"m keeping an eye out for it) so that is what made me pick these items up even though they aren't the things I normally get from MAC.

December Beauty Wish List

So it's been a while since I posted one of these but I have found my self looking for things I really don't need again. I had been good staying away from Sephora only looking at MAC if i had a gift card, but now that all the holiday palettes and stuff are out I just can't help my self. These are a few of the things I really want but just won't bring my self to buy right now.

Makeup of the Day 12/19/11

Hey all, today's make up was one of those days when I kinda just grabbed what ever colors pop out at me. What I ended up with was a neon pink and gray/brown look. I love my pink shadows so whenever I can find a new color combination to wear I jump on it.

Makeup of the Day 12/13/11- A Green Christmas

Hello all today I was very inspired by Christmas. I was at the store and I had picked up some decorations for our tree at work and after that I was really in the Christmas mood. So this is the first of a few Holiday inspired looks. I went with a bright green and grayish silver look. This uses some MAC and Urban Decay.

Naked 2

So I picked up a Naked 2 palette. Honestly I wasn't really sure if I wanted it, I love my Naked palette, but I really didn't think that this one would be as good as the first one; I mean seriously how many neutral colors are there. But I panicked because i didn't want it to be awesome and miss it so I caved and got it.

So below are some pictures of the shadows, packaging, and swatches, I hope these help some of you decide if you want to pick one up. I can't give you guys my full opinion yet on how much I like it, but give me another week or so and I will let you guys know.

Makeup of the Day 11/26/11

So today I just went to lunch with my family and had them over to our house afterwards, so my makeup look was low key, but I still wanted something with some color, so I used Scene by MAC which is one of those colors that changes based on what colors you pair it with.

So I had not been swatching my shadows lately because I wasn't sure if anyone was really looking at them since Temptalia pretty much has them all, but people have commented on how pretty they are and wondering what they look like so I figured why not, hope this helps some people in deciding what colors they may want from MAC. These were all applied over top of painterly paint pot to give them a nice base and pictures taken with flash.

MAC Birthday Haul

So my birthday was in October and i got a gift card to MAC, which always makes me super happy. I did not have anything I really wanted in October, well I did but as usual it was just different shades of eye shadows and I couldn't make up my mind so took some time to try and figure out which ones I really wanted.  The colors I ended up getting were Beautiful Iris, Paradisco, Scene, Omega, and Mystery; also I picked up Fluidline in Ash Violet.
